We saw some beautiful mountains as we entered San Diego County, between the solar panels and the wind turbines the electricity must be reasonable around here. Unlike the gasoline…we just paid our highest at $4.29.9 a gallon but then we reminisced that was a cheep price when compared to our 2014 trip with the Diesel Pusher when diesel was $5.00 and up. :-)
After we got settled into our camp sight, we hopped a Trolly just steps from our Camp sight. Now that sounds easy but remember we are "country bumpkins" and have no experience with this kind of travel but we made it to Seaport Village and Columbia Marina Shoreline.
This is the Famous "Embracing Peace," statue, showing the joy upon learning World War II had ended. It was placed in San Diego in front of USS Midway Museum along the water front.
Wednesday of to the San Diego Zoo!
Again we successfully hopped the Trolly and transferred to a city bus.
